1. General Information & Privacy
- Privacy: We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information provided will not be shared with third-party agents. Your data is stored safely and securely.
- Payment: We use Sagepay (Opayo), an industry-leading merchant payment system, to process payments securely via credit card, debit card, and PayPal.
- Typographical Errors: In the event a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed or charged. If charged, we will issue a full refund for the incorrect amount.
2. Orders, Price Matching & Promotions
- Promo Codes: We only honour Promo Codes agreed upon with the customer, listed on our website, or posted on our official social media outlets. We do not honour codes found on third-party voucher websites.
- Automatic Promotions: We run rolling promotions where discounts apply automatically at checkout once a target amount is reached.
- Price Matching: We offer a price matching service provided the competitor's price is above our cost price. We only match identical products (same code, finish, material, and supplier). We do not match own-branded items or marketplace listings (e.g., eBay, Amazon).
- Price Increases: Due to fluctuating manufacturing costs, product prices may increase. We strive to keep prices as competitive as possible.
3. Delivery & Availability
- Dispatch Times: In-stock items ordered before 3:00 pm (working days only) will be dispatched the same day.
- Out of Stock: If an item is out of stock, we will order it from our suppliers (usually arriving the next working day) and ship it for next-day delivery (UK Mainland only) as soon as it arrives. If there is a longer delay, we will contact you to offer further options.
- Images & Descriptions: Images and diagrams are for illustration purposes only. The final product may vary slightly in size, shape, and colour. Dimensions are approximate due to manufacturing tolerances. We recommend waiting for your product to arrive before scheduling any pre-planned work.
4. Standard Returns & Cancellations Policy
- Your Right to Cancel: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order up until the goods are received. Once received, you may return them within our standard timeframe. Please note: This policy does not apply to business (B2B) customers or special order items made to specification.
- Notification & Timeframe: You must email [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your goods to request a Returns Authorisation Number. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. In total, you have a strict 28-day window to complete a return.
- Strict Packaging Rules: We cannot accept returned items where the product packaging has been altered. Do not apply tape or shipping labels directly to the product box. You must place the product box inside a suitable outer box or wrap it in parcel paper.
- Conditions for Refund: Goods must be returned unfitted, 'as new', and in a resellable condition. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if goods are damaged, fitted, missing packaging, or returned outside the timeframe.
- Return Carriage: Returning unwanted items is at the customer's expense. We recommend using a 'Signed For' service. We are not liable for items lost in transit. If you prefer us to arrange collection, please email [email protected] (a collection charge will apply).
- Refund Processing: Refunds are for the cost of goods only (carriage is not refunded). Please allow 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited to your original payment method.
5. Damaged, Incorrect, or Faulty Goods
- Damaged in Transit: You must report transit damage to [email protected] with photographic proof within 2 working days of receipt. Pack the light in its original packaging with all accessories, and we will arrange for collection. A replacement or refund will be issued within 5-10 days.
- Faulty on Arrival: You have 14 days to report a fault. Email us to arrange collection. Our technicians will test the item. If a manufacturing fault is found, we will issue a full refund or replacement. If no fault is found, you will be liable for the return carriage costs to send the item back to you.
- Incomplete Orders: You must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery if your order is missing items.
- Incorrect Items: Notify us immediately. We will either send a pre-paid postage label or arrange courier collection.
- Faulty within Warranty Period: If a fault develops after 28 days but within the warranty period, you are entitled to a manufacturer's warranty repair. If it cannot be repaired, we will offer a replacement or full refund.
6. Product Guarantees & Coastal Use
- 1-Year Guarantee: All items on our website are guaranteed for 1 Year, subject to due care, appropriate cleaning, and correct installation in the appropriate environment. The guarantee is void if the product has been tampered with or personally damaged.
- Coastal Restriction: Any external lights fitted to a property within 5 miles of the coastline will void any guarantee. Sea salt air causes severe corrosion and affects the material/paintwork, which is beyond the manufacturer's control.
7. VAT
- UK: VAT is applied to all orders with a UK billing address.
- International: VAT is removed for orders shipped outside the EU, or within the EU to customers with a valid VAT number. If an EU customer does not have a valid VAT number, the full VAT price will be included.
